X is not the new Y
“X is not the new Y” is a small circuit board that contains an arduino processor, a battery and two electronic paper displays. Pressing and holding a small button produces over 500,000 combinations of proper names, companies and cities which are presented as random inequalities by the displays. The piece can be recharged by USB or the battery can easily be replaced. As the e-paper displays only consume power while button is being pressed the piece rarely runs out of power. The circuit board can be mounted on a wall or hand-held.
