Translation Lake
Three "abra" boats float in Lulu Island’s lake, lit up by flickering lights that are controlled by voices, generated by artificial intelligence, that are perpetually translating James Joyce’s Finnegan’s Wake into Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, and other languages. Visitors can add or remove a language to the chorus of translation by using the push-button interface.
